Gboard Is Getting A Split Mode For Foldable Phones

Gboard (Google's software keyboard) is getting a split mode for foldable phones.

This improvement means that it will be much easier for people on Gboard to type by putting the keys in a much more natural position for your thumbs (on the left and the right side of the screen).

However, this was already a feature on Samsung's Keyboard which is default Galaxy Fold phones.

To get this feature you will need to use the beta version of Gboard and this feature was first spotted in Gboard beta version 11.9.04.452014594.

Overall, I think this feature is a real plus for foldable phone users who want the regular Google keyboard and hopefully it comes to regular Gboard users soon.
